Using my journal is something I didn’t think I would last more then a couple of months. Well here I am in May and I’m still going.
I’ve added a few pages like the image above. I wanted to read more each month and track my reading for the year. So at the end of my book I have the above library. As I start a new book I add the title to the shelf. Once I finish I color the book in. In each month I have a tiny shelf that can hold at least 3 books. In don’t include any articles I read, but maybe I should.
I’ve also added a section for my blog ideas and projects for each month.
Here is how I start off the month. I review the last month to see what I did well and where I can improve and what I missed. Then I set my goals and projects for the month.
I also create my sleeping tracker. See my little shelf at the bottom? 😃
Here’s my recipe tracker. I was starting to cook the same thing over and over so I added and old recipe section and 1 for new recipes to try. It’s a page of post it notes. Easy to change and add.
Here’s what my weekly section looks like. I think I’m going to keep this set up. I wanted to track my weeks, have a list of things to do, be creative and organized as well as give myself some leaway. This set up is working.
I will definitely change my index a little on the next book. It’s a work in progress. As I change and update my journal I learn a lot about what works best for me. I really like it.
While not as artistic as some, do enjoy creating it. I have a set of stencils that make it easier.
