What’s in your sunscreen?🤔

This is a crazy world. Between the fear mongering from the media, crime, social issues and chemicals it can all send your mind reeling.

Some people say we should go back to the good old days when we didn’t have to worry about such things.

Yeah, but that also means no social media, no internet or cellphones, no computers at all. Sigh. I would be happy if chemicals weren’t every where I turned.

As I said in ‘Chemicals Chemicals Everywhere’ The worst place chemicals can be is on your skin. Your skin absorbs everything.

So today I’d like to draw your attention to the sunscreens we use. Yes, you should use sunscreen no matter what nationality you are. I’ve heard that we should get sun. It’s good for your body to get the natural vitamin D of the sun. Still, with anything, too much of anything is a bad thing. I’ve heard Doctors and specialist say up to 30mins of sun.

Many of us are exposed to way more sun, especially during the summer and spring. I don’t know if you’ve noticed how hot the sun feels even on a cool day. What the…..global warming. So even if you didn’t wear sunscreen before, wear it now.

So what do we use? Now that’s were the frustration comes in. So many chemicals. 😔 So I’ve included links below. The first one is my link to buy your sunscreen from my website DHTwo.net. The second is a link that puts you on to Dr. Axe’s page of links for the dangers of some sunscreens, what to look for and the best and worst to buy.

For me, when in doubt make my own.

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love.
