Peace and Love Everyone!
Hope you’re having a great week. Still, all in all it’s hump day. 🙂
So the weekend past I went to see 3 movies. I saw ‘John Wick: Chapter 3’, ‘Hustle’ and ‘The Sun is Also a Star.’ I must say I did enjoy all 3.
Let’s start with ”Hustle’. Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson are an interesting pair. I thought the movie was cool, a comedy. It was a bit, not really hysterical laugh funny but a chuckle or smile funny.

You’ve seen the previews. Two con-artists who you thought were working together but they really aren’t, they are in competition. One is very classy going after rich men and the other goes after the average Joe.
When the girl who chases the average Joe finds out she can make more money she becomes competition for the classy one. That’s when the fun begins. And it is fun for sure.
I give this movie 🤩🤩🤩 out of 5. I wouldn’t pay full price but it would be good for a matinee or watch at home.

Keanu Reeve is John Wick in Parabellum. For those of you keeping track of John Wick this was an action packed chase all the way. John is running out of time and out of allies. What it boils down to is who does he trust? And does he trust the right person?
For those of you who haven’t been watching, it may be a bit confusing, but an adventure all the way through.
I think John Wick, 3 was awesome. I love action films and this one doesn not disappoint. I give Chapter 3 🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of 5 starry eyes. A go see for sure.

I absolutely loved ‘The Sun is Also A Star’. What a beautiful movie and the timing is just right. With America going through it’s immigration crisis created by politicians it’s good to see the story from an immigrants point of view. Their struggle and their truimph.
Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton are beautifully matched for this romantic tale. The director’s interpretation brings a romantic background to the story. I was in love with New York all over again. Who wouldn’t be with the way it was depicted in the movie. And as a New Yorker born and raised I more than understand the vision.
Now I haven’t read the book yet, but I will. I absolutely was blown away by this movie. It wasn’t what I would expect at all. The cast weaves a tale of a young lady who is an immigrant in this country and her time here is up. Within her last day she meets a young man who despite his predicament loves life.
I fell in love with the couple and the movie. It’s great when cast, director and writer come together to create something so beautiful.
As a romantic person, this movie was my jam. It seemed so real. You want to believe that this is a true tale. I give ‘The Sun is Also a Star 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of 5 starry eyes.
