With the on set of summer I learned that my niece and my sister-in-law were expecting. I had to make them a blanket for their bundle of joy.  So I crocheted a blanket for each. Here is the link if you’d like to create the Baby Blanket. Of course, I took some creative license with mine. They loved them. I can’t wait to see the beautiful babies all wrapped up. 

When I was finished crochet I started working on the denim skirt I started. I love to refurbish  denim jeans. It’s fun to create something from them. I wanted to embroider a flower on the back of my skirt. The thread was a bit difficult to work with but it came out pretty well. Once I finished that, I worked on the jeans I cut the bottoms off of. I love hearts. My last embroidery for the summer was my jeans. I had done a design at the bottom of each leg but I thought it needed more. I think they’re the best yet. Which one do you like the best?
