Joining Those Who Bullet Journal

Not sure if you’ve noticed it too….The year keeps speeding by and I haven’t finished all of my goals for the year. Where does the time go?

While that’s not a catastrophe, I would like to be more organized this year. I have a lot to do and managing my time is important. I’ve tried using a planner. It works periodically but not consistently.  The format was too rigid and there wasn’t enough space to include anything extra. Not to mention it’s too big to carry with me. So, I’ve joined those who bullet journal.

I started my journal for the New Year. At first I used a composition notebook because I didn’t have a journal and I didn’t want to buy one. About half way into January I found a journal I had begun to use to sketch. So glad I found it. It’s perfect for my 1st journal.

Since it’s my first journal, I’m experimenting with different formats. I did the puzzle page for a while to track my days. It’s okay, but I think I will like the sun motif better. I also added a tracker to encourage more reading and to record the books I want to read and have read.  I changed my sleep tracker. I didn’t like the graph to track it. It wasn’t detailed enough. Now, I can track, when I went to sleep and get up as well as a graph to show the trend.

So far so good. I think this is a keeper.

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love. Join me and see how I Live Love Create.
