Countdown to War 6

Peace and Love Everyone!

Hope you week is going well. Things here are going well and school begins next week. Back into the swing of things. I have mixed feelings. This is the time of year where I look forward to going back and meeting my new students. Of course, who wants to go back? By the time I get to December I think I was crazy for wanting to go back.

This is my number six blog countdown to the movie War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. We’re getting closer to the movie release. So close they’ve released another trailer. So exciting. I hope they don’t release all the good parts before the movie comes out. So many times that happens and when you finally get to watch the movie there are not more surprises.

This week I watch three more Hrithik Roshan movies, Guzaarish, Agneepath and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. They are not my favorite movies but watching them again was entertaining all the same.

Let’s start Agneepath. Agneepath meaning ‘path of fire’, is a movie about karma. No matter who you are, you must pay for your transgression and sometime karma takes it from more than just you. As the movie begins its a happy time, and you know l life is about to be disrupted. When boys are misguided, I already see the set up for the man who the village loves taking the blame.  His son can do nothing, not even of age. What will his family do? I’m starting to notice that Hrithik and King Khan have a lot of movies in common. Although not similar totally Raees has a similar theme. A boy taking his life in his own hands because he has not choice and paying for it afterwards.

Hrithik plays a powerful part. Sanjay Dutt was excellent in his part of the villian. Still not one of my favorites, however the storyline is fierce. I would give it 🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of 5 stary eyes emojis.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a very human tale. Three best friends bonding over a bachelor trip. It’s a light and fun that unfolds from the marriage proposal. It reminds us who’s important and makes us want to reach out to them again. After watching this movie I want to have a girls trip through Europe. Although, I will never run with the bulls or jump out of an airplane to remember that life is precious. That I am fully aware of.

I would give this movie 🤩🤩🤩 and 1/2 stary eyes emojis. This is perfect for an evening at home when you want to watch something but you’re not totally committed.

Last but the most passionate of all Guzaarish. This movie tackles the compelling issue of euthanasia that was being addressed in India. The film was made in 2010 and it wasn’t legal in India until 2017 when the India Supreme Court finally recognized the living wills of terminally ill patients; the right to die with dignity is a fundamental right.

In Guzaarish, Hrithik Roshan’s acting is outstanding, the dance scene, graceful and beautiful. When it comes to Hrithik as and actor and dancer we expect no less than the best and you see it here.

I fully enjoyed this movie and I would rate it 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of 5 starry eyes emojis. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a must see.

All of these movies are available presently on Erosnow.com which can be purchased through the website or Amazon Prime. I had originally watched them on Netflix streaming but they are no longer there.

We are so close to the movie release date and I am running out of time to review Hrithik’s movies. There are still 15 left and I haven’t gotten to Tiger’s movies yet. Over the next two weeks I will review at least four more movies. Next week I will review Mujhse Dosti Karoge! and Dhoom 2 and the following week Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and his very first movie Kaho Naa..Pyar Hai. I do have room to add one more each week, any suggestions?

Until then, have a great week and weekend.
