Countdown to War 7

Peace and Love to you all!

Hope you’ve been having a great week. I’m still trying to finish watching the movies for this week’s countdown. As I write, I’m cracking up watching Abhishek Bachchan dance to Touch me. He was trying to be cool but so wasn’t.

Anyway, we’re here for the countdown to the 2019 Yash Raj film War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Have you chosen your side yet? I haven’t. I will by the end of our countdown. I’ll definitely let you know.

The movies I watched this week were Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Dhoom2. I was suppose to watch them this weekend but was sidetracked by my obsession with Chinese dramas. I did get to finish watching them. It was fun seeing them all over again.

Mujhse Dosti Karoge is a fun loving movie. A family and their son leave India and their friends for opportunity in London. Raj says goodbye at the train station and they plan to write. But the girl Raj writes for the next decade isn’t who he thinks. When he finds who she really is, it is impossible to prevent the misunderstanding from getting even more mixed up. But then Pooja (Rani Mukerjee) decides she can do without love if it means not hurting her friend, Tina (Kareena Kapoor). Learning this leaves Raj (Hrithik Roshan) is quite a dilema. Enough of one that he gives her an ultimatum that eventually back fires. Watch this love story unravel before your eyes.

I would recommend it giving it 🤩🤩🤩 and 1/2 starry eyes emojis out of five.

Dhoom2 happens to be one of my favorite Bollywood movies. It’s action packed and the stunts are awesome. Not to mention, seeing the different faces that he uses to commit the crimes is amazing. Watching it again was just as much fun as the first time.

Dhoom2 is an exciting race against the best thief in the world Aryan played by, of course by Hrithik Roshan. Even the opening is exciting. Leaving you wondering if the producers have left some of the action scenes for the rest of the movie and indeed they have. It’s a taste of what’s to come. I think that this movie really made him into an action star. Not that he hadn’t done action before, but Dhoom2 takes the action up a notch. His action movies only get better and more complicated after Dhoom2.

I love the opening dance sequence ‘Dhoom Machale’. It’s fun and the sexy Hrithik Roshan is fab here. My next favorite song is Dil Laga Na. I feel like Aishwarya Rai was a good choice to play opposite him. She was also a good match dance wise. Once thing Tiger’s movies don’t always accomplish.

With that said, there were some scenes that are unbelievable. I won’t tell you what they are, but let me know what you think.

I would give this movie 🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of five starry eyes emojis. A must see.

Well, we’ve reach near the end of my review of Hrithik Roshan movies. Next week his very first feature film and my favorite of all time after Devdas, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Then I take a look at Tiger’s movies.

Have I convinced you to choose Hrithik’s side?

Make sure to check back next Wednesday.
