Peace & Love Everyone!
We made it through two anxious months waiting for this movie release, and it is here. War comes out today, October 2, 2019. I’m still waiting to see if they’ll release it in any other theaters in New York. Funny thing, it’s not in the usual movie theaters. There are three major theaters in New York that Bollywood movies are released, that is not the case this time. So far it’s only released or going to be released in three Regal theaters. Not sure of the reason.

Anyway, what do you think? Have you picked your team? I hope I helped you make that decision. Or maybe I made it harder. I know I made it harder for myself. Movies don’t work logically; there is always a twist and turn to make things more exciting.
Maybe you’re team Hrithik. I would agree with that. He is a great actor with an impressive range of characters. As he gained more experience, his range expanded. He dances well although I’ve heard he’s not a natural. Wouldn’t have known that by looking at him. And if that’s true, he deserves more props.
Still, what about our newcomer? Tiger’s acting is getting better. He’s a martial artist and a dancer. He looks great in those routines. So does the younger wipe the floor with his master or does the master show him whose boss?
My prediction, the two will figure out what happened and work together. What do you think?
I just don’t know who to pick. I’m an avid fan of both actors. That’s one of the reasons that I wanted to see this movie in the first place. I’ve seen the majority of their movies and I’m anxious to see what the writers and directors have done with the skills of these two stars. It’s not often that your favorite actors star in a movie together. This should be an epic movie in Bollywood history.
Can you believe that on Twitter, I read early yesterday that Aditya Chopra is planning a sequel. Is it a sequel with both of them or after one dies — so many questions.
Hope you’ve enjoyed my countdown to War and I hope the movie is as action packed as we think it’s going to be. Check back next we for my review of War.
