Intro to My Flow

Peace and Love Everyone!

I hope you all have had a great week. Mine hasn’t been anything out of the ordinary. I did go to a family gathering this week. It’s always great to see people you haven’t see in years. This spark my poetry writing again, so I figured I would share.

So, I’ve been writing poetry for many years now, decades, really. From the beginning, my poetry was and still is an extension of how I feel emotionally. It’s my outlet. As long as I remember, emotions at times were overwhelming for me. I always seem to feel things too deeply, and I was unable to deal with them and just let go. My poetry usually helped me put things in perspective or at least clear my head enough to think clearly.

Since romance is my intrinsic topic, my poetry tends to take that slant as well. But even if it’s not romantic, there are emotions hidden in the lines. A short time ago, I began to explore other topics that hit me hard other than romantic ones. I don’t usually publish those, being that they exhibit the rawest of my emotions on the issues I am passionate about.

No further delay. I wrote 3 poems this week. I hope you enjoy it.

Intro to My Thoughts

My guide

That 6th Sense from inside

Live

And enjoy this ride

Of whatever love is to be mine

Choosing to learn if I get burned

Not to stay if things get stormy gray

Now I pray that I’ve learned from past experiences

Love myself

Not pick inferior instances

But ascend to hear the Creator’s devine intervention

If it doesn’t work, I won’t pray for an extension

But rock on to find the perfect friend

So in my heart love can live again

I’m A Woman

A woman has needs too

But now I keep thinking of you

And how you felt inside

As expected we were protected

A love perfected

As I suspected and like the 1st time

Hope to spend time, again

Become the best of friends

Comrade until the end

A companion for all time

Should have broken it down to you

Dreams on the mind my truth

Still, we discussed so much

Hope to connect with you

Feeling different

More proficient

My life, will you fit into?

Possibilities

Thinking of the possibilities

Crafted by endearing moments

A day of remembrance

We pay severance

Here is where I always wonder

Was it a moment to forever

Or just one of many

That your energy would bring me

Full circle

Bring closure to our first exposure

I smile thinking that may be true

Hoping you would surprise

My expectations

But no lamentations

Unfortunately, some frustration

Many women dream of smooth sailing

Fairy tales in the making

But life is mostly not that blazing

Or amazing

But Love is

Isn’t it?

A story of glory to the real

Moving forward, not frail

Hoping to unveil the real

Possibilities

Endless

But this

Two outcomes

I doubt one

Well, I hope you enjoyed them. Maybe they sparked something for you as they did for me.

Not sure what I’ll post next week. I haven’t really talked about my planner journey that much this year, so perhaps it’s time for an update.

Curious about what I’m up to when I’m not posting, check me out on Instagram; I have two pages. One is strictly about planning and the other just for my writing. Of course I am also on Facebook and Twitter. Although I’m not much of a tweeter.

Until next week. Have a great week.

Peace & Love

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love. Join me and see how I Live Love Create.
