Peace and Love Everyone!
The holidays are getting closer and closer. People throughout the world are getting ready to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, or another significant event I don’t know about.
As we get ready to celebrate, many of us aren’t looking forward to the festivities because they have no one to celebrate it with, or they are alone in the city or country they are in. As much as this is a time to celebrate, it is also a time of sadness and pain.
We all carry it with us. Many of us learn to cope better than others with whatever life had inflicted on us. At least we may see it that way. Maybe, we regret our decisions in life. It happens to us all.
I’ve found to place to help deal with much of that pain. Bayside Meditation Center.
Now I found out about the Center while grocery shopping. One of the members was standing outside, waiting to talk to people. I took him up on the offer and made an appointment to visit. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I needed a place to go.
At the time, there was so much going on, at home, at work, my life. I was looking for a place to put it all in perspective. Being part of Bayside Meditation Center has taken away a lot of the worry of day to day life. I even deal with things so much differently. I’m not as angry at people driving crazy, and I don’t take people’s reactions or actions to heart. It’s made it easier for me to not be so anxious. I used to worry about things that were beyond my control. I knew it was not smart but I couldn’t help it. Going to the Center didn’t just help me to cope; it helped me to let go. I was finally free of all the things that were keeping me stuck.
Now I’m not saying it’s an easy process or that it’s a quick fix, it’s not. And most of all you have to be willing to do the work. Once you are, the rest comes a little bit easier.
Now, I wasn’t able to get the list of all the centers around the U.S. or the world, but I will give you the number to the Bayside center, and they can point you in the right direction. Hopefully, there is a center near you.
