Stationary Shop

Hey! Peace and Love to you all! Thanks for stopping by.

As usual I’m working on my novel and my shop. I’ve had a shop on Etsy for many years now. It wasn’t a stationary shop before. I’ve tried natural products and custom jewelry before, but they never did well. Or should I say I didn’t give them enough time to really grow.

I’m a crafter by nature I think. As I child I loved to draw. As I grew older I turned to macrame and crochet before being moved to writing short stories. I’ve posted one of them for my blog page. I’ve wanted to post more, I will some day. As a child I was exploring each craft. As an adult I love them all. But who has time for all. I’ve even added a few, sewing and jewelry making. Think I have enough?

As I bounced my shop from one idea to the next, I couldn’t figure out what I really wanted my shop to be about. Now that I have found my way back to planning, it’s a stationary shop with a bit of crafts thrown in. Not only do the crafts make my shop a bit different from the rest, but my stationary designs are one of a kind.

Once I got into planning, I bought different insert pages. They were adorable. I loved them. But, I like to change things up. As organized as I try to be, I don’t like using the same set up all the time. Plus there were a few things I thought should be included in any insert set. So I created my own and began selling them. My business is no where near where I want it to be, but that’s okay. I think I finally found a shop I want to keep.

So my idea is, to keep the stationary shop, but when created, give my customers an opportunity to purchase other unique items. Right now you can buy crocheted items in my shop. I love to crochet, so there may be a few there on a regular basis. We’ll see.

Make sure to stop by ‘PlanningNCrafting’ on Etsy.

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love. Join me and see how I Live Love Create.
