Much Needed Break

Since I’ve been off from work I know haven’t kept my blog schedule. I wanted to make sure that I blog at least once a week. That was great originally. For the last month I haven’t posted anything and I haven’t worked on my novel.  I knew what I wanted to blog about about and I have a few tweeks for my latest novel. At the time I was absorbed in other craft projects. Since my sister is expecting I wanted to crochet her a blanket. It came out wonderful. I also started a few other projects.

Writing isn’t the only thing I love to do. I enjoy creating different things. I’ve reused denim to create skirts as well as embroidered them. I’ve crochet afghans for my loved ones. Now that most of the crafts are done, it’s back to writing. Of course I didn’t start writing until after I saw an awesome new movie.

I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this. Once of the things I love is learning about other cultures. Of course that’s why I’m a history teacher. Anyway, as a child growing up I loved Asian art, I still do. So when my student about fifteen years ago lent me a Bollywood movie to watch, I was enthralled to say the least. My first movie was Devdas. It was fabulous to say the least. After that, I so love Bollywood movies. 😍😍❤️❤️❤️😍😍 The actors that I love, my absolute favorites are, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. I’ve made sure to purchase as many of their movies as I can get my hands on. I’ve been following their careers ever since my introduction to Bollywood. Looking forward to Jab Harry met Sejal.

During last spring break I was introduced to another Bollywood actor that I’ve added to my favorites list, Tiger Shroff. He is absolutely awesome and I’ve seen almost all of his movies including the latest, Munna Michael. Euphoric. Every film is not without some errors, all that aside, I love ❤️❤️ Munna Michael. The dancing, drama and fighting were awesome, as far as I’m concerned.

Munna Michael was the end of my break. It’s back to writing. I saw it Friday and by Saturday I was back to editing my latest novel and now I’m working on the next few blogs.

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love. Join me and see how I Live Love Create.
