Living a Clean Life

A couple of years ago I decided to remove as many chemicals from my home environment as possible. That’s not an easy thing. We’re surrounded by chemicals, especially living in New York. There are other states that are worst but we’re up there in the production of producing sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide. What about the chemicals we use to clean our house? What we put on our skin? Our hair?

It’s quite scary to think about the things we use in our society. We don’t stop to question companies about what they use in their products. This will be the first of several articles on the chemicals that we use everyday and what they do to us.

Of course I won’t leave you hanging. I will give you some options that you can substitute. I hate reading about things that are wrong and not have any options as to what to do.

Like so many women I wear different hats. Sometimes all at once, sometimes one after another. I'm a mother, teacher, daughter, sister, friend and writer. That doesn't include my love to create things. I love working with my hands to crochet, draw, mix natural products and the list goes on. This blog is an extension of that love.
