Planner Babe

Peace and Love Everyone!

Hope all of you have had a good week and have an even greater weekend. I’ve been thinking about pushing back my blog to Sunday morning. This way I’m not rushing on Friday to prepare my blog for Saturday morning or early afternoon.

So, it has been almost a year and a half since I began to use a bullet journal and traveler’s notebook.

Do you know, I’m stoked about my organizing? It has really helped me get my schedule together. If you’ve been reading my blog you’ve seen the changes that I’ve gone through as I learned how to use a bullet journal and finally a hobonichi. Just in case you haven’t, here is the link. That was the very first time I wrote about my journaling. The second time I was getting used to my TN. At the beginning of 2019 I introduced my readers to my new hobonichi. A month later I did a flip through of my new naya.

Since I started over a year ago I have five traveler’s notebooks (two of them I made), one hobonichi weeks, a hobonichi techno, an A5 rings, a personal rings and a happy planner. I would have never thought I needed all of those different journals. Believe it or not, except for the pocket tn I used them all. Crazy right? Maybe.

The 1st TN I made

My A5 rings I recently found in the back of my shelf. I had long forgotten about it. In college it was my address and appointment book. Now I use it for school to keep track of what classess I have for the day and what they’re learning. Many times the classes are not all on the same page. So my school journal keeps me on track and then I write things down I so remember what I need to do during that day.

When I first started my bullet journal I kept trying to find ways to organize other things. I wanted a space to write, I needed to create a working budget. I also wanted to track my sleep and exercise as well as my day and what I needed to do with it all. The list continues.

From my personal rings

I’m still looking for ways to track all that I do. It helps me figure out what I’m doing with all of my time. There used to be days that went by and I either just wondered through the whole day and couldn’t recall where all my time went. It’s not that I was just wasting the whole day, I worked on different things but it seem like time escaped me. Now I know for sure.

Not sure what happened but the IG stories link wouldn’t convert.

Now I have journals and planners for different things. My hobonichi is my regular planner. I plan my day and what I need to do. On the journal pages I journal about my day, and add images. On my blank pages I go through and draw. I haven’t drawn since I was a child and I wanted to practice again.

Practicing my butterflies

I use my happy planner for budgeting. My hobonichi weeks is my travel planner. It connects work and home so that I don’t travel with my work journal. I also record my spending, what I’m suppose to post on social media and my ideas for my next post. My Naya holds my writing ideas for my blog story and my other blogs as well as my learning notebook where I write down things I’ve learned from videos that I think would help me to improve my day. When I’m keeping my hobonichi at home it goes in my naya also.

Planning has opened up a new world to explore. New people to meet and connect with. For many of us it’s a play ground where we plan our day and decorate it. I definitely enjoying the addition to my journey and I’ve got the washi and sticker collection to prove it.

My movie blog will be back on Wednesday. I am going to see several movies this weekend. I will be anxious to let you know if you should spend your hard earned money.

I’ve decided to post my regular blog on Sunday. So, next Sunday, chapter 15 of ‘The World of Dreamers’. I’m still not sure how to end this tale. Either way, this is the final chapter. Not even sure what my next blog story will be. Any ideas?

Until next time. Peace & Love
